A sustainable business model 

Our aim is to build a sustainable business which all starts with our concept of producing on demand. We are also aiming to be transparent about the way the product is produced and where the fabrics come from. 

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The Fabric:

• This blazer is crafted from a mix of cotton, linen and lyocell:
• Tencel is an artificial fibre fabric with natural origins, being extracted from the cellulose of the eucalyptus plant. It belongs to the viscose family, but can be thought of as a plant viscose whose production has a low environmental impact. Lyocell with the TENCEL label are born from the regeneration of wood cellulose and are extracted from eucalyptus and beech trees, respectively.
• Linen is considered a more sustainable fibre simply because it is 'natural'. ... One of the oldest known fibres, linen is a cellulose fabric that has traditionally been made from the stem of the flax plant. Flax uses less water and pesticides to grow than cotton and it is fully biodegradable when left untreated.
• Cotton is a natural fabric as well. Although we weren't able get a certified GOTS organic cotton for this mix, due to too low volumes of ordering, we are aiming to increase our volumes and get the cotton certified and organic in the future.
• The fabric is produced in Italy by Infinity, a GOTS certified company. Read more about their sustainable approach here. 
• The fabric is UNDYED, that means that no dying methods are used. Conclusively no dying chemicals or any other treatment chemicals are added to the fabric. That means it's completely biodegradable.

The trims:

• The metal zippers are sourced from Italian UNIZIP
• The metal buttons are sourced from Swedish Etikettkompaniet and produced in China
• The metal plate at the back is made by Greek Karasinetlis

Production:

• This product is crafted by our skilled seamstresses in our atelier in Lithuania. We have visited the atelier numerous times and have a great collaboration. The employees work in very good conditions and get a decent salary.

PACKAGING AND BRANDING

Our Swedish supplier is Märkett and production of the labels is in China.

• Paper labels: made from 100% recycled paper. 
• Packaging: Recycled paper and certified paper

SHIPPING

We ship mostly with DHL and always with climate compensated green shipping.
