A sustainable business model 

Our aim is to build a sustainable business which all starts with our concept of producing on demand. We are also aiming to be transparent about the way the product is produced and where the fabrics come from. 

ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The Fabric:

•  Freedom trousers are made of silk. Silk is not only an amazing and beautiful quality, it is also sustainable. It is made of natural fibers and the production process is relatively harmless to the environment (no chemicals are used).
• The black washed silk is sourced from Exotic silks. They import the silk from Thailand, China, Korea, and India.
• The silk twill with art prints in Blue Vault and Tapestries are woven and printed with digital print techniques at Taroni, an Italian family business based near the Como lake.
• The black and white striped silk twill is printed with digital print technique at Rotary textiles, Italy.

Digital print:

Our fabrics are printed digitally. This method creates less waste, for example there is no need of producing printing plates. Additionally there is less use of chemicals and water than traditional methods.

Production:

• Freedom trousers are crafted by our skilled seamstresses in our atelier in Lithuania. We have visited the atelier numerous time and a great collaboration. The employees work in very good conditions and get a decent salary.
